Trees of Righteousness

Image
Isaiah 61v3 "To provide for those who grieve in Zion- to give them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise in place of a spirit of despair.  So they will be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified." God calls his people Trees of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord. Why are we called Trees of Righteousness? 1. Like trees are the beauty of the landscape so The Church of Jesus is the beauty of the World. 2. Like a tree is known for it's great strength to stand for many years through many storms so are we strong in the Lord. Walking in his Joy which is our strength as we are rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ. 3.  As a tree is fruitful so are we called to bring forth fruit in our lives to glorify our God. Have you ever bought a plant from the garden centre and it looked healthy but when you transplanted it into a bigger pot or into your garden it didn't do well, or even died?  Some...

Revelation 21:1-4  Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. I have put a link to it below.  It asks this question "If heaven's not my home, then Lord what will I do?"  Have you ever asked yourself that question? No matter how great our journey has been, it is always lovely to arrive home.  When ...

Isaiah 40 v 28v31. Have you never heard?    Have you never understood?   The   Lord   is the everlasting God   the Creator of all the earth.   He never grows weak or weary.   No one can measure the depths of his understanding. 29  He gives power to the weak  and strength to the powerless. 30  Even youths will become weak and tired,  and young men will fall in exhaustion. 31  But those who trust in the  Lord  will find new strength.   They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary.   They will walk and not faint. What Makes the Difference in our Lives? Some run and grow weary, others soar, BUT all have storms.  There is one thing that mankind must understand and that is the 'God Factor'.   We require more than information, intelligence and human strength.  There are many times that we are doing everything we know to do and st...
